Discernment is the key to all things.  You do not have to choose between two polar opposites: between Protestantism and Catholicism, Conservatism and Liberalism, Absolutism and Relativism, Authoritarianism and Libertarianism.  The middle way always yields wisdom.  A third path always exists.  The Via Media is still alive.  Energize the center.  Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Be gracious in defeat; modest in victory; wise in counsel; forgiving ad infinitum; loving in all things.  Love as Christ has loved you.  Live the Doxology.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  Amen
